E+ BrS Prague, Slovenian report

On Sunday, February 2, 2019, as part of the Erasmus + Brownfield sites project, we traveled by train from Ljubljana to Prague. After twelve hours of driving, we arrived in snowy Prague, where we were received at the train station by the hosts and the students; we were accommodated in Czech families. On Monday, February 3, there was an opening ceremony at the school, laboratory work and city tour. On Tuesday, February 4, we got to know the brownfield sites around the school. This was followed by a visit to the Muzeum pražského vodárenství and the continuation of laboratory work at the school. On Wednesday, 5 February, members of the hunting association Myslivecký spolek Hubert Malá Hraštice presented their work in the field of nature and animal protection. This was followed by a tour of the brownfield site of ​​Mníšek pod Brdy, where we had a winter picnic. In the evening we were able to test our skills in bowling. On Thursday, February 6, we visited the Prague Zoo, where we saw the effects of the floods of 2002 and 2013, and we also had the opportunity to feed the giraffe, underground pigs (aardvarks), hippos and wild Mongolian horses. The evening was followed by a guided tour of Prague Castle. On Friday, February 8, we visited the Rückl glassworks, Nižbor. We finished the lab work at school, prepared lunch, watched a video presentation of the entire week, and said goodbye to friends at the closing ceremony. On Saturday, February 9, there was a train ride home, from Prague through Vienna, Villach and to Ljubljana.
