Report
From August 24 to August 28 2021, we met in Brussels for the last, additional pupils’ exchange in the Erasmus+ project, which ended with the end of the school year. There were pupils from Slovenia, Estonia and Czech Republic; unfortunately Swedish and Icelandic participants could not join. Together we visited European institutions, some brownfield sites in the near Molenbeek district and saw the capital’s landmarks – Atomium, Grande Place with City hall and City museum, Chocolate museum, Horta museum, Comic art museum, Coudenberg palace. We also met Jure Tanko, who works in the European Parliament and who introduced us to the functioning of this institution and briefly took us around it. We spiced up our stay in Brussels with Belgian culinary – well-baked French fries and delicious waffles.
